SMART BASE AW2110 is a low odor, low foam polyether ester that provides excellent wetting, lubricating and anti-wear properties.
SMART BASE AW2110 possesses inverse solubility characteristic that can develop oil films on the contact points between cutting/grinding tools and the workpieces where heat is building. It can effectively reduce heat dissipation and protect the tool from wearing.
SMART BASE AW2110 is recommended for use in formulating fully-synthetic coolants that can enhance the workpiece finishing and has anti-corrosion capability for aluminum alloys.
SMART BASE AW2110 exhibits no foam property in alkaline environment.
SMART BASE AW2110 is recommended for replacement of chlorinated additive to satisfy the environment requirements.
SMART BASE AW2110 is acidic in nature, but prone to be neutralized when it is blended with the alkaline synthetic coolant. Prior neutralization with amine products such as triethanol amine, diethanol amine, or monoethanol amine can be made before blended into the synthetic coolants or treated as a component to blend the finished products.
SMART BASE AW2110 can also be formulated into soluble oils or semi-synthetic coolants where chlorinated paraffin is not preferable.
