SMARTCIDE BK988 is a broad spectrum liquid triazine compound. The product exhibit excellent performance against bacteria commonly found in metalworking fluids.
Advantages
SMARTCIDE BK988 can be used in emulsions, semi-synthetic and synthetic metal working fluids. It should not be used in systems having a pH lower than 7.0 and exposed to temperatures exceeding 52℃ for prolonged period of time.
Formulation Notes
SMARTCIDE BK988 can be used either in concentrates or as tank side addition in diluted fluids. It is a good practice to check for the presence of fungi in the system in use. Fungi, like Fusarium solani amongst others, produce acidic enzymes which can destroy bactericides commonly used in metalworking fluids.
