SMART BASE DW8350 is a pale yellow liquid with low odor. The premium dewatering additive package is suitable for fuel and petroleum applications where the presence of water will impose problems. When blended with fuels and lub oils at treat rate of 0.5 - 2%, it can effectively separate water, and make it easier to be removed from the bottom of a container or storage tank.
SMART BASE DW8350 is readily miscible in organic solvents as well as paraffinic or naphthenic base stocks. When workpieces are treated with SMART BASE DW8350 they will leave no water-spots on the surfaces. Since SMART BASE DW8350 is highly effective in removing acidic and alkaline contaminations. So it is also recommended for use in dewatering process for both of the electroplated components and glass materials.
SMART BASE DW8350 is compatible with most rust inhibitors and many other additives. It works synergistically with rust inhibitors in many petroleum applications
