SMART BASE RP7130 is a light color, low smell, non-toxic and biodegradable product that is blended from vegetable derived waxes and high molecular polymeric esters in combination with calcium soaps.
SMART BASE RP7130 possess high affinity and excellent wetting characteristics, which made it has excellent rust protection characteristic. In addition, it has the property of moisture displacement.
SMART BASE RP7130 can be cut back with mineral spirits or mineral oil to produce a protective, non-staining rust prevention film on ferrous or nonferrous metal surface, even in environment with high humidity or salty condition.
SMART BASE RP7130 can leave an ultrathin protective film in the metal surface. It can be applied for in-process, short term or long term indoor and sheltered outdoor or indoor storage application. The performance in different applications depend on different treat rate applied. Besides, it can also act as an additive incorporated in cutting oil for extra corrosion fortification.
SMART BASE RP7130 can easily be removed by with alkaline cleaners or solvent degreasers.
