SMART BASE 2516 is a sulfurized fatty oil colored amber and with low odour. It contains sulfur as high as 16%; but still will not easily stain yellow metals.
SMART BASE 2516 possesses excellent lubricity and EP properties, and it is recommended for use in formulations of cutting and forming oils for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
When compared to other sulfurized additives, SMART BASE 2516 exhibits relatively high oil film strength due to its high viscosity; so it exhibits high performance in stamping and drawing operations.
SMART BASE 2516 is light color, so operations can easy be observed during processing, and its low odor is easily acceptable by workers.
SMART BASE 2516 has good stability and compatibility with other additives and different groups of base oils, which make it easy for blenders to use for blending different types of machining oils.
