SMARTPHOS P3212 is a light color, low odor, and high phosphorus product; which has good compatibility with mineral oils, synthetic oils and esters. The product can be applied to the oil-based formulations to booster the anti-wear and extreme pressure characteristics.
SMARTPHOS P3212has good hydrolytic and thermal stabilities; so it can also be used in water-based formulations. It contains no phenolic compound and has no adverse effect on the environment.
SMARTPHOS P3212 can replace animal fats and chlorinated paraffins in formulations, smoke evolution and tool consumption can hence be reduced. Beside, when the product is used together with sulfur-containing additive, synergistic effect can be attained. The dosage of sulfur compound can be reduced, and product cleanliness and precision can be effectively elevated.
SMARTPHOS P3212 can be applied in formulations of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is specially good in rolling oil applications.
