SMART BASE RP9890 is a highly concentrated non-ferrous metal corrosion inhibitor containing alkanolamine, carboxylate and triazole derivatives. It is suitable for formulation of soluble oils, semi-synthetic and synthetic fluids.
SMART BASE RP9890 can effectively protect various types of aluminum alloys; including 319 (cast aluminum alloy), 2024-T3 (high copper aluminum alloy), 6061 (high magnesium aluminum alloy) and 7075 (high zinc aluminum alloy). It can also protect copper and cast iron.
SMART BASE RP9890 posesses good anti-wear and lubricating characteristics that can attain synergistic effect when used with polymeric esters.
SMART BASE RP9890 can be used as tankside additive, and can also be used as short-term rust inhibitor after dilution with water.
