Adtecᵀᴹ 161 is a high quality medium-chained acid ester of trimethylolpropane (TMP). It exhibits superior oxidative and thermal stability as well as excellent low temperature properties and low volatility. Adtecᵀᴹ 161 is recommended to be used either neat or in combination with polyalphaolefins or highly refined base stocks since it exhibits excellent additive compatibility when blended with the above base stocks. It is biodegradable according to the European 21 days and EPA 28 days biodegradability tests.
Applications:
Adtecᵀᴹ 161 has found applications in engine oils and jet engine oils in military, commercial and stationary applications.
