MAYPEG DT-600 is a fatty ester which exhibits excellent boundary lubricity properties, especially in nonferrous applications. This characteristic, makes MAYPEG DT-600 a superior product choice over conventional animal-based constituents, normally used in cutting oils and drawing & stamping compounds.
MAYPEG DT-600 has exhibited, in field and laboratory testing, enhanced machining characteristics, especially as previously stated, in aluminum applications.
While, this was observed in oil systems, it was even more apparent when MAYPEG DT-600 was incorporated in semi-synthetic and synthetic fluids.
