SMART BASE CR-2070 is a kind of low viscosity EP additive that can replace chlorinated paraffin in heavy duty cutting oil and emulsion formulations.
SMART BASE CR-2070 is non-corrosive to yellow metal, so it can be used to process both non-ferrous and ferrous metals. It has good extreme pressure and anti-wear properties, also, it can extend tool life.
SMART BASE CR-2070 has a higher fatty content with excellent lubricity, which can effectively improve the surface finishing of workpieces.
SMART BASE CR-2070 can replace chlorine by ratio of 1:1. For instance, treatment of 4% of 50% chlorinated paraffin contributes to 2% chlorine content in the formulation; so 2% of SMART BASE CR-2070 can be used for replacement.
