SMART BASE PN8700 is an excellent antiwear and EP additive; suitable for replacing chlorinated paraffin in water-based formulations. The product is suitable for machining alloy steels, titanium alloys, and non-ferrous metals.
SMART BASE PN8700 can effectively elevate the surface finishing of workpieces. At the same time, it can strengthen the emulsion stability of water-based products.
SMART BASE PN8700 has higher acid value, so cannot be used with the over-based calcium sulfonate; it can be neutralized by mixing with the TEA prior to blending with other additives.
