Adtecᵀᴹ 439 is a self emulsifying ester of trimethylolpropane (TMP) that exhibits excellent temperature stability and lubricity. It forms a stable, milky emulsion after diluting it with water up to 90% by weight.
Applications:
Adtecᵀᴹ 439 has found application in the metalworking area for steel milling, grinding, cutting oils, hot or cold rolling oils and drawing lubricants. Due to the emulsibility and lubricity characteristics, it is very desirable to use it as a lubricity/antiwear additive for semi-synthetic and synthetic metalworking fluids. For light to medium-duty applications, the treat rates can be applied in the range of 5-20 wt%.
