Adtecᵀᴹ 139 is known as PETO that is a high quality ester of pentaerythritol fully esterified with oleic acid. It displays good low and high temperature stabilities and proves to be biodegradable by European 21 days and EPA 28 days biodegradability tests.
Applications:
Adtecᵀᴹ 139 has found application in the metalworking area for steel milling, grinding, cutting oils, hot and cold rolling oils, drawing oils and way lubricants. Since Adtecᵀᴹ 139 is thermally stable and readily biodegradable, it can be formulated as a base stock for fire-resistant hydraulic fluids for outdoor applications.
