SMART HMPE 9380 is a high viscosity, light color, high molecular weight polymeric ester that contain no sulphur, chlorine and phosphorous. Due to its unique molecular structure and high affinity characteristics, it can adhere tightly to the metal surface even at elevated temperature, which perform outstanding anti-frictional and anti-wear properties of lubricant. In addition, the characteristics of medium viscosity make used as a multi-functional viscosity regulator.
SMART HMPE 9380 has a high degree of saturation that can prevent contamination from oxidation.
SMART HMPE 9380 process the characteristics of high temperature stability, low temperature fluidity, low volatility, high viscosity index and good shear stability, which can cover the functions of lubricating, anti-wear and extreme pressure at different temperatures in the contact point during machining, and hence both tool and coolant life can be prolonged.
SMART HMPE 9380 can replace the sulphur, chlorine and phosphorous containing additives with similar performance. Moreover, it can avoid the reduction of product shininess due to the chemical reaction of the extreme additive with the metal during machining. Besides, SMART HMPE 9380 can also be blended with sulfurized EP additives to achieve synergistic effect.
SMART HMPE 9380 has good compatibility with mineral oil, synthetic oil and synthetic ester with easy blending. Product has good cleaning characteristics and is readily biodegradable.
SMART HMPE 9380 is an ashes additive and has no residue during high temperature operation. It has no corrosion to non-ferrous metals and is suitable for cutting, drawing, and stamping operation for aluminium alloy.
SMART HMPE 9380 is also suitable for the formulations of gear oil, grease, refrigerating oil and other metal working fluids.
