SMART BASE 2816 is a clear amber sulfurized fatty oil with low odor. It possesses extremely good lubricity and EP characteristic. It is recommended for oil-based formulations for ferrous and yellow metals.
SMART BASE 2816 possesses relatively high viscosity, so it is suitable for applications in heavy-duty machining operations such as tapping, drawing, stamping, turning and threading.
SMART BASE 2816 exhibits superior EP property when compared to conventional sulfurized additive with the same sulfur content. Also, SMART BASE 2816 can enhance surface finishing of workpieces.
SMART BASE 2816 has good stability and compatibility with other additives and different groups of base oils, which make it easy for blenders to use for blending different types of machining oils.
