SMART BASE 1417 is a premium sulfurized fatty additive, with both vegetable and lard oils as raw materials. It possesses low viscosity, so is easy to blend. The color for 5% dilution in base oil is translucent deep brown.
SMART BASE 1417 possesses relatively good wetting and lubricating characteristics when compared to traditional sulfurized lard oil. It is not easy to corrupt, with good cleansing property after operation.
SMART BASE 1417 possesses very good EP property; specially suitable for severe operation on hard-to-machine steel alloys.
SMART BASE 1417 contains active sulfur, so it is not suitable for machining general copper, bronze and brass.
