SmartCide BIT-20 is a light-color, low-odor, highly concentrated, broad spectrum biocide that is designed for use in soluble oil, semi-synthetic and fully-synthetic formulations to inhibit microbial and fungal growth
SmartCide BIT-20 contains no formaldehyde or CIT/MIT, so is a good alternative for the formulators who have restriction in using formaldehyde, or the users sensitive to biocides.
SmartCide BIT-20 possesses high-range of pH compatibility; that under pH of 2-12, the systems can effectively inhibit different types of microbial growth.
SmartCide BIT-20 is effective to inhibit microbial growth even in anaerobic conditions.
SmartCide BIT-20 exhibits low efficacy against Pseudomonas, but can be effective when used with formaldehyde containing additives.
