SMARTEMUL 1618 is a nonionic surfactant that is made by reaction from C16C18 Alcohol with ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, which is good for emulsifying different types of base stocks such as naphthenic, paraffinic or esters, PAOs and PAGs.
SMARTEMUL 1618 exhibits HLB range of 8.0-10.0, that is good for using in formulations of soluble oils, semi-synthetic and fully-synthetic coolants.
SMARTEMUL 1618 exhibits hard water stability and low foam characteristics that is suitable for machining of alumnum or magnesium alloys even under high pressure cooling.
SMARTEMUL 1618 has detergency property that can keep the machine tools and lathes clean during machining, which is specially beneficial to the machining cast irons or aluminum alloys.
