MISTQUER M1000 is a high molecular weight polymeric additive that can be used to prevent very fine droplet formation and hence mist from operation can be reduced.
MISTQUER M1000 can be added in small amount (like 10 ppm); that can effectively increase the tackiness of the metal cutting fluid, so the average particle size of mist droplets is enlarged. As the increase in particle size will decrease the number of airborne particles formed, so can shorten the distance from machining operation that the particles will fall.
MISTQUER M1000 needs to be replenished periodically as mechanical degradation of the polymer by shearing during operation will occur.
