Product Description

The base material of SMART BASE RP3314 is benzotriazole. It belongs to a multifunctional type.

SMART BASE RP3314 can be added to formulations with active sulfur to inhibit copper corrosion. It can be blended with base oil or mineral oil to make rust preventive oil, and can be added to soluble oil formulation to protect yellow metals from corrosion.


Suggested formulation：

  • Drawing and stamping oil: 0.5-2% in 68cSt oil;
  • Corrosion Preventive oil for Copper: 6% in 150SN base oil or volatile solvent.
