Product Description

SMART BASE RP9490 is a high performance corrosion inhibitor for yellow metals.

SMART BASE RP9490 contains alkanolamine, carboxylate acid salt and triazole derivatives. It is suitable for formulations of soluble oils, semi-synthetic and synthetic fluids.

SMART BASE RP9490 can effectively protect various types of aluminum alloys; including 319 (cast aluminum alloy), 2024-T3 (high copper aluminum alloy), 6061 (high magnesium aluminum alloy) and 7075 (high zinc aluminum alloy). It can also protect copper and cast iron.

SMART BASE RP9490 has pH greater than 8, so system stability cannot be spoiled easily.

SMART BASE RP9490 possesses lubricating property, so can extend tool life.

Product Features:

  • Good hard water resistant;
