SMARTPHOS P3358 is an excellent multifunctional copper corrosion inhibitor and AW additive; which is designed for formulations in MWF and industrial oils. It is mainly used in neat oil formulations, and can be used in soluble oils and semi-synthetic fluids.
SMARTPHOS P3358 exhibits excellent AW property; and can attain synergetic effect when used with sulfur-containing additive. Hence, the antiwear capability can greatly be improved and high standard of surface finishing of the workpieces can be achieved.
SMARTPHOS P3358 is suitable for use in blending heavy-duty operation fluids. In addition, SMARTPHOS P3358 can reduce smog produced during the operations, which can provide good working environment. The treat rate is about 1-2%.
SMARTPHOS P3358 can be used as a corrosion inhibitor in neat oil formulations when blended in formulations with active sulfurized additives. Copper corrosion test result will be upgraded to 1A or 1B from 4B when the treat level is about 2%.
