SMART BASE 2826 is a clear amber sulfurized fatty oil with low odor and high sulfur content. It possesses good lubricity and EP characteristic. It is recommended for use in formulations of neat oils for ferrous metals.
SMART BASE 2826 contains active sulfur, so it is not recommended for yellow metal applications.
SMART BASE 2826 possesses low viscosity and high sulfur content, so it is suitable for heavy-duty operations such as tapping, drawing, stamping, turning and threading.
SMART BASE 2826 exhibits more superior EP property when compared with conventional sulfurized additive that has same sulfur content, which can enhance surface finishing of the workpieces.
SMART BASE 2826 has good stability and compatibility with other additives and different groups of base oils, which make it easy for blenders to use for blending different types of machining oils.
