SMART BASE 2517 is a clear light amber fatty oil EP additive with high active sulfur; mainly used in formulations for metal working oils.
SMART BASE 2517 possesses low viscosity, so is specially suitable for formulating deep drilling and honing oils; which require extremely superior cleansing property.
SMART BASE 2517 possesses excellent lubricating, anti-wear and EP properties. It exhibits more superior performance when blended with phosphate esters such as SMARTPHOS P6800 / P7800 and chlorine replacement additive like SMART BASE CR-2050.
SMART BASE 2517 is light color, so operations can easily be monitored. Its low odor can be accepted easily by workers.
SMART BASE 2517 has good stability and compatibility with other additives and different groups of base oils, which make it easy for blenders to use for blending different types of machining oils.
