SMART BASE 2510 is an inactive EP additive with clear amber colour, low odor and sulfurized fatty oil, possessing good lubricity and anti-wear properties. It is designed for use in neat oil and soluble oil formulations, applying for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
SMART BASE 2510 possesses low viscosity and is easy to be blended with other additives and mineral oils. It exhibits superior EP property when compared to conventional equivalent amounts of sulfur-containing additives.
SMART BASE 2510 will not corrode yellow metals, so it can be used to machine brass and bronzes.
SMART BASE 2510 is highly stable and compatible with other additives and different groups of base oils, which make it easy for blenders to use for blending different types of machining oils.
