SMART BASE 3517 is a kind of amber, high viscosity, low-odor fatty oil; with excellent lubricating and extreme pressure properties, it is recommended for use in neat oil formulations for the processing ferrous metals.
SMART BASE 3517 is suitable for heavy-duty processing like tapping, drawing, stamping and turning. Compared with other additives similar sulfur content, SMART BASE 3517 exhibits better lubrication and EP performance, that can effectively enhance the surface finishing of workpieces and extend the tool life.
SMART BASE 3517 has good compatibility in different groups of base oils that make it easy to blend different types of processing oil.
SMART BASE 3517 contains active sulfur, which is not suitable for the processing ordinary copper, bronze, and brass.
