| TPS 20 | Dialkyl Polysulfide | TPS 20 is an extreme pressure additive for lubricants. TPS 20 does not corrode copper very much. Its tertiary dodecyl chain being extremely stable, TPS® 20 is the most efficient dialkyl trisulfide. TPS 20 is a pale yellow liquid. It has a very slight odour and does not contain any chlorinated impurity or unsatured hydrocarbon. TPS 20 is totally soluble in most common hydrocarbonated solvents as benzene, toluene, white spirit, fuels. It is fully compatible with mineral and vegetable oils. It is slightly soluble in lights alcohols and is not soluble in water. | 20 - 23 (4) | 53 | 2 | ≥ 121 | ≤ -20 | 76 / 250 | 0.78 | 4 | ≤ 1b | n.a. | n.a. | * | * | * | * | * | * | * | * | * | * | * | * | * |
| TPS 32 | Dialkyl Penta-sulfide | Active sulfur, not suitable for yellow metals. Can blend neat and soluble cutting oils. Extremely low odor. Sulfur can exist in high temperature (in. decomposition temp 170-180℃). Suitable for high gear low speed operations; including general metal operations, forming and well drilling fluids. | 29 - 32 (23) | 64 @50℃ | ≤ 10 | > 121 | ≤ -20 | 82 / 315 | 1.07 | 9.7 | 4c | 1a - 1b (0.3) | 1a - 1b (0.1) | * | * | * | * | * | * | |||||||
| TPS 44 | Dialkyl Tri-sulfide | High sulfur, suitable for industrial lub like gear oils and lubricating grease. Not corrosive, suitable for yellow metals. High thermal stability, mor sulfur can exists in high temperature (init. decomposition temp 200-210℃). Suitable for low gear high speed operation; including car/industrial gear oils and rolling oils. With odor, better used in closed systems. | 42 - 46 (18) | 4 @20℃ | 4 | ≥ 70 | ≤ 10 | 63 / 400 | 0.85 | 2.6 | ≤ 1b | 1a (0.08) | 1a (0.01) | * | * | |||||||||||
